活(huo)性(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan),又稱(cheng)活(huo)性(xing)炭(tan)(tan)。是(shi)(shi)黑色粉(fen)末狀或(huo)塊狀、顆粒狀、蜂(feng)窩狀的(de)(de)無定(ding)形碳(tan)(tan)(tan),也有排列規整的(de)(de)晶體碳(tan)(tan)(tan)。活(huo)性(xing)炭(tan)(tan)中(zhong)(zhong)除碳(tan)(tan)(tan)元(yuan)(yuan)素(su)(su)(su)外,還包(bao)含兩類(lei)摻和物(wu):一類(lei)是(shi)(shi)化(hua)學結(jie)合的(de)(de)元(yuan)(yuan)素(su)(su)(su),主要是(shi)(shi)氧和氫(qing),這些元(yuan)(yuan)素(su)(su)(su)是(shi)(shi)由(you)于未(wei)完全炭(tan)(tan)化(hua)而殘留在炭(tan)(tan)中(zhong)(zhong),或(huo)者在活(huo)化(hua)過程(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong),外來的(de)(de)非碳(tan)(tan)(tan)元(yuan)(yuan)素(su)(su)(su)與活(huo)性(xing)炭(tan)(tan)表面化(hua)學結(jie)合,如用水(shui)蒸氣(qi)活(huo)化(hua)時,活(huo)性(xing)炭(tan)(tan)表面被氧化(hua)或(huo)水(shui)蒸氣(qi)氧化(hua);另一類(lei)摻和物(wu)是(shi)(shi)灰分,它是(shi)(shi)活(huo)性(xing)炭(tan)(tan)的(de)(de)無機部分;灰分在活(huo)性(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)中(zhong)(zhong)易造成二(er)次(ci)污染。
活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)是(shi)(shi)一種(zhong)(zhong)用(yong)(yong)途極廣(guang)的(de)(de)(de)工業吸(xi)(xi)附劑,它是(shi)(shi)利用(yong)(yong)木(mu)炭、各種(zhong)(zhong)果(guo)(guo)殼和優(you)質(zhi)煤(mei)等(deng)(deng)作為原(yuan)料,通(tong)過(guo)物理和化(hua)學方法對(dui)原(yuan)料進(jin)行破碎、過(guo)篩(shai)、催(cui)化(hua)劑活化(hua)、漂洗(xi)、烘干和篩(shai)選等(deng)(deng)一系列工序(xu)加工制(zhi)造(zao)而成。活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)自(zi)1900年(nian)問世以來(lai)(lai),其(qi)應(ying)用(yong)(yong)歷程當中經歷了(le)兩(liang)件(jian)大事,一是(shi)(shi)在20世紀(ji)20年(nian)代一次世界大戰中被用(yong)(yong)于(yu)制(zhi)造(zao)防毒(du)(du)(du)面具;二是(shi)(shi)在20世紀(ji)40年(nian)代數(shu)以百計的(de)(de)(de)自(zi)來(lai)(lai)水(shui)廠用(yong)(yong)活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)脫臭(chou)。活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)的(de)(de)(de)吸(xi)(xi)附性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)源于(yu)其(qi)獨(du)特的(de)(de)(de)分子構造(zao),活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)的(de)(de)(de)內(nei)(nei)部(bu)有(you)很(hen)多孔隙,每(mei)克(ke)活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)的(de)(de)(de)內(nei)(nei)部(bu)孔隙如(ru)果(guo)(guo)鋪(pu)展開來(lai)(lai)可達(da)到500~1700平方米,正是(shi)(shi)這(zhe)種(zhong)(zhong)獨(du)特的(de)(de)(de)內(nei)(nei)部(bu)構造(zao),使得活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)具有(you)優(you)異的(de)(de)(de)吸(xi)(xi)附能力,活性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)(tan)的(de)(de)(de)應(ying)用(yong)(yong)非常廣(guang)泛,比(bi)如(ru):糖的(de)(de)(de)脫色,軍用(yong)(yong)防毒(du)(du)(du)面具,香煙過(guo)濾嘴,空氣凈化(hua)器,自(zi)來(lai)(lai)水(shui)廠水(shui)處理,飲用(yong)(yong)水(shui)凈化(hua),解毒(du)(du)(du),醒(xing)酒(jiu),治(zhi)理放射元素污染,降(jiang)低土壤中殘留農藥,調理土壤性(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)能,治(zhi)理室(shi)內(nei)(nei)甲醛,蔬(shu)菜保(bao)鮮(xian),等(deng)(deng)等(deng)(deng)。
由于(yu)原(yuan)料(liao)來源、制造(zao)方(fang)法、外觀形狀和應用場合不同,活性碳的(de)(de)種(zhong)(zhong)類很多,到(dao)目前為(wei)止尚(shang)無精確的(de)(de)統計材(cai)料(liao),大約有上(shang)千個品種(zhong)(zhong)。
